Believe Yourself

"Not always would your ideas be accepted by the world,
It's you who have to believe in it and work on it"

"Believe In Yourself", probably this is the most common thought. But, have we ever properly given a thought to it. We just roll it in our minds, but do we actually apply this in our lives. I don't think so! There might be few, but not many of them.

We all know Late Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam. He is possibly the best icon I can even think of. He belonged to a lower middle class family, but how did he achieve his dream? He worked on it with self-belief. He started by selling newspapers to earn money and pay his fees, but studied, he did! But most importantly he believed himself and that made him THE MISSILE MAN of India. So now what?

 We all think of doing something different but we always have a fear of whether that would be accepted. It doesn't matter! What really matters is do you believe it. Trust on what you are doing and if you accept it and know that it will work then the world will gradually accept it, as you are the biggest critic of yourself. And if you think it will work, it will. So just believe and work, the rest will just happen with time....

  Now, you all must be wondering why I wished "Happy Dads' Day" instead of "Happy Father's Day", well the reason is the quote above, "Any Man can be a father but it takes a special man to be a DAD". The other day, a friend sent me a reel in which the person said, " The world has become such a place that, one can say, I wanna be a lawyer, a doctor, an architect, but not 'I want to be a great mother' when of all the jobs it is one of the toughest. " This statement has become known as a feminist statement. A person not wanting to be a mother and have a family is, a feminist, while the true reason to have the whole movement was that, every woman irrespective of what she chooses to be in life, should be recognized as an equal member of the society. It is about giving the same opportunity and recognition.
