Hey 2021,
How are you? Well....Considering that you are under tremendous amount of pressure. People have high expectations from you. So, here I am to mellow down this pressure.
2020 was one huge roller coaster... of which, we all were a part. People discovered their talents, like cooking, baking or even converting dialogues into music like what Yashraj Mukhate did. On the other hand, there were millions of people who were unemployed, some who were a victim of depression or were patients of Covid-19.... But what did we do? Trust me, nothing... We simply judged them, made fun of them, trolled them or just added on to their pressure. So here, we have a chance to stop judging people because however free spirited people are... Society is something we think of even before what our parents will think about something.
This is not a point from one side but from both sides of a coin! Be it a boy or a girl, we all have something to say to each one of you. Here we go.....
We are tired of listening,
"Are you a girl? Stop crying"
Sometimes expressing is our last choice,
Maybe even boys can be emotional at some point.
"Why is this dress so short?"
Is something we don't want to hear again,
When a guy shows his abs...Is it that fine?
"Boys don't feel pain" is easy to say,
But even they feel the pain.
"Depression is nothing, when we were a kid we did not even know the word"
Is not the right thing to say.
During your periods there are 100's of constraints,
Isn't it something that God themselves gave?
Boys cannot do makeup!
What even if they did?
"If you are too short or long, it will affect your career!"
How does our height, even come in between our future?
"Your skin color is your definition, be it white or dark."
Then why has God given us a brain or a heart?
"Why are you so thin or so large?"
Is our body size more important than, we are?
"A girl and a boy can never be 'just friends'"
But what if they actually are?
We request the society to remove all these myths.
And let people live the way they want to live.
Maybe your opinion does not matter at some point.
But a person is scared to do something,
Just at the thought of the word "SOCIETY".
Lets be a part of the change than simply expecting it to happen. Believe it or not the thoughts of the society do have an influence on us. How much ever people say that "their opinion does not matter", we are still triggered of what people think. Lets do what is in our hands, give people a chance to do whatever they want to, without judging them.
